Eliza's Manor on Bealey provides the perfect setting for your complete Christchurch wedding. It is a venue for every season, with the secluded and spacious courtyard garden to the warm, magnificent indoor architecture.

You may wish to hold your wedding ceremony in our courtyard, beside the water fountain.  If the weather is inclement you may wish to take your vows on the 100 year old ornately carved staircase inside.

Eliza's Manor on Bealey has rooms for your pre-function drinks, wedding reception and a dance in the evening.  The setting is beautiful for photographs - inside and out. We offer an all inclusive wedding venue complete with guest bedrooms - including a bridal suite.

Every couple’s wedding day is personal and we like to meet with you to discuss your plans for your day and how we can help you to achieve the wedding you desire.

Payment Policy

A deposit of $500 is required to confirm your wedding booking.  In the event of a cancellation a refund of the deposit will only be made if the venue can be rebooked for the same period.

The account should be settled on the day of the wedding unless prior arrangements have been made.

Venue Hire

Venue hire depends upon the setup and facilities required and on the duration of the wedding.  This can range from $850 to $1250 .  Our staff will discuss your needs with you and find the most cost effective way in which we can help you.

Menu Options

Our in-house chef will cater for your every need. Again our staff will discuss with you the wide range of options available for your wedding reception, which may range from a formal sit down meal to a more casual cocktail style.  We will provide a list of options from which you can choose your own menu.

Alcohol

We are fully licensed and carry a range of New Zealand and regional wines, beers, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages.  Only beverages provided by Eliza's Manor on Bealey are able to be consumed on the premises.  If you have a special preference we will endeavour to source it for you.

Finishing Time

Due to the fact that Eliza's Manor on Bealey provides accommodation we need to minimise any avoidable disturbances to house guests.  Alcohol will cease to be served at 11pm.  All guests will be required to leave the premises by midnight. 

If a band, DJ or dance is required then all the accommodation must be booked.  Alcohol can be served until midnight, with guests leaving by 12:30 am

Confetti

Confetti and similar materials are not permitted inside or outside the building.  Any use will result in an additional charge of $250 for cleaning.

Smoking 

Eliza's Manor on Bealey is a totally smoke free environment. 

In line with New Zealand legislation and for the health and comfort of our guests and staff, smoking is not permitted in the building, courtyard or outside areas adjacent to the front door and courtyard entrances.
